Flu season is coming soon and it’s important to take action to protect yourself from the flu and avoid spreading it to others.

Listed below is information on how to identify a flu shot provider location, along with coverage details. More resources can also be found in the Flu Shot page.

In addition, if you're covered under a Toys“R”Us medical plan (Aetna, Kaiser or Triple-S Salud), you may receive the flu shot at no out-of-pocket cost.

If you have Aetna medical plan coverage:

Aetna medical members and their covered dependents can receive the flu shot at any of Aetna’s contracted pharmacies or flu vaccine providers. Click here for a listing of pharmacy and flu vaccine providers offering flu shots.  This information can also be found on aetna.com under “Find a Doctor”, by searching “Flu Shot Provider.”

You may also go to your In-Network participating Primary Care Physician (PCP) for the vaccination.  (NOTE: Members who go to an Out-of-Network PCP will be subject to the deductible and/or co-insurance).

When receiving the flu shot, it’s important that you provide your Aetna ID card so that services can be billed directly through Aetna.

If you have Kaiser medical plan coverage:

Kaiser medical members and their covered dependents can go to kp.org/flu to access detailed information regarding walk-in flu shot locations in their region, valuable self-care flu information, and more.

When receiving your shot, you should bring your Kaiser membership card and a photo ID.  In both California and Hawaii, flu shots are available at no charge to members when administered at a Kaiser Permanente medical facility.

If you have Triple-S Salud medical plan coverage:

Flu shots for Triple-S Salud covered team members and covered dependents may be administered at no charge at participating providers.  Call the plan at 1-787-774-6072 or 1-787-774-6060 for more details.
